Place of Birth: Iganga, Uganda
How I came to be a part of AVA: I began living in the streets of Kampala where I was found by the police and taken to the orphanage when I was 11.
Favourite Subjects: English
Hopes for the future: I am very behind in school. I would like to further my studies to catch up with the other children my age so I can become a technician.
I lost my dad when I was still young and my mum took me to my grandfather’s place to stay with my family as she wanted to move on with her life as she could not look after me. I was abused and mistreated by my grandfather so I made the decision when I was 11 to run away.
